KIDS ELITE SPORTS SUMMER CAMP

Kids Elite is the premier summer program providing an array of recreational and competitive sports including basketball, soccer, kickball, badminton, tug of war, interactive football, speed and agility drills, board games, and much more.

Summer Camp is offered from June through August. We provide parents a safe option to get their kids out of the house and away from their screens for a chance to take part in “FUN” filled activities. Our program develops essential motor skills needed to help your child live an active and healthy life.

This weekly camp gives parents the flexible option to sign their kids up for one week or multiple weeks. Kids (ages 4–12) of all athletic abilities are welcome.

For middle school students (13-14 years) who want to become counselors once in high school, Kids Elite offers a great opportunity through our Counselor In Training (CIT) program. Contact us to learn more.

WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOUR CHILD

OUR ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMS

DIVERSIFICATION OF SPORTS

A variety of sports is essential to sparking interest and giving kids a chance to take risks. Interactive football, soccer, basketball, floor hockey, kickball, & futsal are just some of the sports that campers will get the opportunity to participate in.

HUDDLE UP, READ UP

Strengthening the mind is just as important as the body. We love our daily 30-minute reading block that allows time for kids to dig into their summer reading books. Our youngest campers enjoy read-aloud circles with counselors while our older campers read independently.

INTERACTIVE FOOTBALL

Kids Elite is the only camp in the DMV that offers Interactive Football for campers ages 8 and up. This cool, innovative, and safe option for kids to play football incorporates technology and what kids love most about the game. With the wearable technology, campers learn the fundamentals without risking injuries that are commonly experienced in tackle football.

RUNNING 101

This session is a foundational block to our model for building agility and athleticism, developing coordination and motor skills, and increasing speed. These strategic exercises and fun drills are transferable to all sports and also help prevent injury.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Our rec games are not only fun, but they also allow campers to learn strategy, to apply ELITE core values like teamwork, and to practice those transferable skills that build athleticism.

OPTIONAL BEFORE AND AFTERCARE

For our busy working parents, before and aftercare are a necessity. Campers that attend before care can participate in chess sessions, structured recreational games, or supervised free play. Aftercare offers arts and crafts sessions, table and group game tournaments (ping-pong, foosball, four-square), free play, and snack time.

Beforecare at Murch (8am-9am), beforecare at Jackson Reed – formerly Wilson (7:30am-9am) and aftercare at both locations (3pm-6pm) is available.

Note: Campers schedules will vary from day to day, depending on their grouping and weather conditions!
